Which is why the prices are on the website, the response times are written down, and the first thing we will tell some businesses is that they should hire someone instead of calling us.
Why this company exists
Small businesses in Chicago get offered two things. A break-fix provider who bills by the hour and therefore earns more when your systems fail. Or a managed provider who will not tell you the price until you have sat through a meeting, and then wants a three-year term.
Neither is designed around the actual question a business owner has, which is: do I hire someone for this, or do I pay someone else to do it? That question has an arithmetic answer, it varies by size, and it is answerable in ten minutes. Most of this website exists to answer it — including the cases where the answer is not us.

All of them, on the pricing page. If our seat price does not suit your business you should discover that on a website, not four weeks into a sales process.
Flat fee, so prevention pays
Under a managed agreement every ticket costs us money. That aligns us with you: the patching, monitoring and early replacement that nobody can bill for is exactly where our margin comes from.
No long lock-in
Thirty days’ notice. Multi-year terms mostly protect providers from the consequences of their own service.
No hardware markup
Equipment and licences at cost. It means we have no financial reason to recommend replacing something that could be repaired, and you can believe us when we say it needs replacing.
We will talk you out of things
Off managed IT if you have four computers. Off a repair if the machine is not worth it. Off the cloud for a workload that should stay on-premise. Off us entirely if you are big enough that hiring wins.
What we are not
We are not a national franchise with a call centre, we do not sell computers, and we are not going to tell you that a product makes you compliant with anything. We cover downtown Chicago and the neighbourhoods around it properly rather than claiming every county touching the city.
